Much sort after privately owned attractive rural cottages available for holidays in Cumbria. Pets are very welcome. Our two self catering cottages are both set in quiet rural locations approximately 2 miles south of Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass, Cumbria.This tranquil part of The Western Lake District attracts visitors who appreciate the countryside and all it has to offer.The valleys of Eskdale and Wasdale are very closeby and are popular with walkers and ramblers of all ages aspecially those with dogs!

The cottages are full of character and charm with open fires and magnificent rural views. Up to 2 dogs are welcome at either. Woodside House sleeps up to 8 and Sawmill Cottage sleeps 4/6.

The cottages are approximately an hour’s drive north west of Kendal. They are on the western fringe of the Lake District in Cumbria within easy access of the main tourist spots – Coniston Water or Ennerdale are about 30 minutes drive whilst the valleys of Wasdale and Eskdale are much closer.The area around the dwellings are both quiet, greenand very rural.There is a village shop a mile away, and pubs two miles in either direction. The castle & gardens at Muncaster is two miles north and is beautiful at all times of the year.
