Sawmill Cottage Sawmill Cottage ( a self catering property) nestles discreetly off the main A595 coastal route. This recently refurbished semi-detached dwelling can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. There is an enclosed garden with patio area, lots of lanes and countryside to explore from the doorstep. The picturesque valleys of Eskdale and Wasdale are within easy driving distance. This in an ideal setting for those who love the Lake District's scenery, yet appreciate the peace and tranquillity of rural life. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric hob and oven, and breakfast table. The living room is large, with a dining area. It has an open coal fire, TV , video / dvd player and also a double sofa bed for those extra guests! There are electric storage heaters throughout the cottage. Upstairs there is a twin bedded room and a double bedded room as well as toilet and large double shower.
